New Study Finds that Increase in Physical Activity leads to Increase in Academic Achievement

A Physical Activity Intervention Program was implemented in a Swedish Elementary school to see if increased Physical Activity would affect Academic Achievement. The program was held twice a week after school, and it included physical activities as well as health related educational programs. Markers were created to measure the academic achievement of students who were not included in the program (Control Group) and students who were included in the program (Intervention Group). Academic achievement was measured at the time just before the Program started, and again after 5 years of the program's installment. After 5 years of program participation, the students who participated in the Intervention demonstrated higher academic achievement than the students who did not. 1. Even if a single person in a team is not doing her/his job like they are supposed, it damages the integrity of them team which will then affect all the members of the team alike. So fun team building activities for work should be incorporated into the work routine at regular intervals.
